Possibly, but I've never heard of it. For one, women's issues/comforts etc. don't seem to be a priority, and 2, things like menstruation and all the stuff surrounding it are so taboo most women would never even ask their doctors.

I am headed home for Christmas in 8 weeks and if you like I can buy you some and mail it to you.

You do know that Midol is just Tylenol with a different name, right?

Midol contains either aceteminophen or ibuprofen. It also has a dose of caffeine and a diuretic.

No, they aren't. Midol has extra ingredients to relieve bloating and water retention.

...and pamprin is naproxen sodium. Just try to find a bottle of pain reliever.
I use a heat compress sometimes. That really helps my cramps.

Not the same effect. Why do you care? Why do you feel the need to even contribute to this thread?

So nice of you to offer but I think I will be ok! It's really only one miserable day a month when I feel like downing an entire bottle of it. After that, I get by on ibuprofen and chocolate.

OK, just go to a pharmacy and say "seng li tong." That's Korean for "menstrual cramps." You can even write it down: 생리통. And then just take whatever they give you. They might give you something like Midol, or they might just give you plain Tylenol, or they might give you some weird, smelly traditional Korean medicine. I don't know. Either way, it's better than waiting several weeks for your Midol to arrive from overseas.

But in several weeks she'll have cramps again. At least she'd have Midol for next month.

OP, depending on the severity of your cramps, may I suggest you try Buscopan? It is available in pharmacies here (same name). I prefer it to ibuprofen or tylenol (which is too weak for me). Buscopan is specific for stomach area cramping that you have for any reason. I take a lot less of it than I did when I was using ibuprofen for cramps.

An Aussie nurse recommended it to me and I have never looked back!
