Does anyone know where I can buy men's thermal wear? If you don't know what it is. They're like pajamas you wear over your undies and under your clothes. It really makes a difference.
Most the places in Korea are pretty expensive. I'm hoping to find a decent one for under 40. But who knows?
Thanks |

The 'Try' and 'Suggest' brands are in most supermarkets and street markets for a lot less than 40,000....if I remember....unless, like everything else in Korea, their price has sky-rocketed too. |

Uniqlo's Heat Tech thermals are awesome. A bit pricey (maybe 50,000 for a full set?) but really comfortable and durable. |

My friend is sending me some Korean army long underwear, and my sister is sending me some US Coast Guard stuff as well. I'll compare and let you know when I get them. |

I did the math. I just ordered it from the states, even with customs and shipping. It should still come out slightly cheaper than buying 2 of the same sets from Uniqlo |

I've heard that the Korean army stuff is good, and cheap too. |

Korea, I live in far north gyeonggi do, it's a lot colder than Seoul and there's no skyscrapers to block the wind. Almost all the stations are open air. So my commutes leave me standing or walking around outside for at least 30 minutes to an hour (Depending on when the train comes) each way. Sometimes 2 hours + if snow delays the train. That happened last year, I almost got frost bite |

Fair enough. Long underwear is standard winter attire back home, and I just brought some with me.
If you can get your hands on some, try and find some merino wool stuff. It's awesome. |

Even if one had access to Korean army long underwear wouldn't there be a size issue? |
