For a time, my husband went on a Ramyeon binge, and soon after at a health test at work, found out he had high blood pressure.

After abstaining from Ramyeon for a period of time since then, his blood pressure has returned to normal.

Does anybody know if any of the new brands of ramyeon that claim to be healthy are removing bad stuff or are they just adding flakes of dried vegetables and claiming this makes them healthier?

Ramen is obviously unhealthy, but I wonder if it isn't so bad for Koreans since they would eat Banchan with their ramen. Kimchi, Bean sprouts, cucumber, etc... would at least add some nutritional element to eating ramen.

Ramen is made with vast quantities of cheap palm oil from south east asia. It's not just bad for people, it's bad for the environment, as swathes of pristine jungle are being cut down in plases such as Indonesia, Papau New Guinea and Thailand to grow the crud.
