So my iPod has finally given out on me completely (before it just wouldn't accept new songs). I'm currently using a really bad prepaid phone, where the buttons don't always work and I have a limit of about 30 text messages in memory.
If possible, I'd like to replace both of them with one device. I can't seem to get an answer about whether I can take an iPhone home and change it to a network there after the contract is up (or how to do it and if they iPhone has a sim card). Does anyone know about this? Or can they recommend a different phone that works well as a media player too and wouldn't have a problem with it? |

Didn't a poster here say a couple of weeks ago that Samsung confirmed to him that the Galaxy S can be unlocked for foreign countries. |

I haven't seen it, but possibly? Though I also still don't know how. Though I've no idea if the Galaxy S is a good media player or not. I know my previous smartphone (Nokia e71) was terrible as one. |
