|
|
My handphone is an LG Anycall model with a 20 pin connector (long very thin, 20극). I got a free headset with it, but the earbuds just fall right out of my ear and the mic hangs down around my neck. So it is in effect not hands free, but 3 hands required (one on each ear and one to hold up the mic).
I would really like a full over ear headset with mic using a 20 극 connector. Similar the nice one I have connected to my computer for making skype calls. But when I check on gmarket, they have 500 in ear headsets (with dangling mics) and seemingly zero over ear headsets. There seemed to be one option for converting the 20극 connector to a headphone connector, but that lost the mic option.
Yeah, I wish I had bluetooth, but the LG shop wouldn't sell me a new phone even if I paid full price, I had to get a 2 year old used model. So let's just not get into bluetooth options if possible.
Anyone ever seen over ear headsets for handphones? It would be for a few long calls I usually make at home at night, not for carrying around.
Thanks |

Those are all "in ear" headsets. As in, stick it in the ear.
"Over ear" is when the earpiece rests on the ear, or surrounds the ear. There would always be a support going over the top of the head to keep the ear pieces in place with an "over ear" headset.
Thanks, though |
