I'm trying to get on Xbox Live in Korea. A guy i met told me to go to play-asia to get the gold membership, but there are two option there and i'm not sure which one to choose. There is an Asia one and a US one. Now that I'm in Korea, playing on a Korean xbox it seems logical that I should get the Asian one, but does that mean I won't be able to play against people from home? Really, what is the difference between the two and why is one cheaper than the other?
thanks gamers and I look forward to shooting you |

| I play COD MW2 regularly but I am getting ready to pick up Black Ops as I've gone through the prestige thing a couple of times and need a change. |

| You can get it in Yongsan for around 56,000. The Korean version has English voices, English menus and English subtitles. It is region free so it will work on your US XBOX. I have done so personally and it works fine. Don't spend the extra money on the US version or bother waiting for it. |

I play black ops regularly here in the us and I will bring my 360 to korea in 2011. For those of you who brought their 360 do you experience any lag issues when playing against americans or the rest of the world?
i'm not sure is ping is a problem with xbox live but i assume the servers for black ops are located in north america. |

Any lag is due to the internet in North America. Korea has great internet speed.
That being said, most of the time the game will automatically direct you to the nearest server. I normally end up in games with everyone speaking Chinese. |

| Don't get the Korean x box live subscriptions for an American x box. They don't work. You have to then call microsoft to exchange it for an American one for example. |

| Xbox live subscriptions are region-specific as far as I know. If you have a Korean xbox I've found the easiest way is to order from a site like http://onlinepoints.co.kr/ (the one I use). |
