If you want to pay 300k won to have it "certified" you can.
Otherwise = no.

Certified? What the hell do they have to certify? It's an Iphone. It looks like the same one many other Koreans use. It was just purchased outside of Korea.
I did some checking and read a post on a message board saying that the Korean version of the Iphone does not use sim cards. Is that true? |

no, the Korean iPhone DOES use Sim Cards (I was able to use my Korean iPhone on the American T-Mobile network over the summer)
yes, you can use an unlocked iPhone here, but the phone's IMEI number must be in KCC's (Korea's FCC) database for it to work. Hense, the "certification" process and fee. |
