Anyone know where you can buy halloween costumes (wigs, accessories, etc.)? I'm assuming Itaewon is my best bet, but don't know where specific stores are. Thanks! |

There was another thread about this earlier with a lot of information. I am on my phone now though and dont want to search for it.
I found a place last year and went back again this year in Jongro 5 Ga. If you walk out of exit 7 and walk straight or about 2 minutes you'll see a Woori Bank(우리은행) at the 4 way intersection on the right hand side. Walk around the corner and the store is immediately on the right across from the Cheongyecheon Stream.
Good luck! |

Street vendors on the main drag of Itaewon - turn right coming out of Hamilton Hotel and you'll see some scary masks and stuff displayed (also on the other side of the street, usually near corners around KB Bank ...)
I got this mask in Itaewon shortly before I left Korea a couple months ago ...

I tried to touch it up a bit here - but my singing and percussion are more horrible than the mask! http://www.singsnap.com/snap/r/aa7d1624e |

www. halloween.co.kr has a store in sadang...
copied from other post:
sadang subway station, exit 14, walk straight out quite a bit more than 50 meters till you get to the part of the sidewalk with the wall along your left side. Continue to the three-way intersection (with the hospital on one corner). Turn left and immediately turn right down the first alley/side street. www. halloween.co.kr (with orange sign) is about 20m down the side street on your right, in the basement.
i went there saturday and was pleasantly surprised! large selection, decent prices! |

Here's the map for Halloween store from the same thread: http://www.flickr.com/photos/54698374@N02/5067091583/
Very easy to find. Didn't check out the prices of costumes, but there is a wide selection of masks priced from 2,000-18,000 Won. There are also lots of little Halloween-themed trinkets, like pencils, that you can give to your classroom kids. |
