Are the Korean teachers that attend open classes in other schools paid to attend?

Do they receive points or credits for attending?

Is their attendance part of a performance plan in that they have to attend so many each year?

Just wondering.

I believe the pay is based on distance. So if you're a mere 5 minutes drive away from that school you maybe out of luck.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Have you been paid to go? Is the payment deposited with the paycheck or is it cash?

Still simply curious. (There's lots of little job things I wonder about.)

Korean teachers get a flat rate for travel to any different schools within their district (about 10 000w) and then a mileage based rate with per a diem for food and accommodation for trips outside your school district. Of course, there's forms and procedures to follow to get it.
