does anyone know when universities in china start hiring? i'd ask on the china board, but i'd have to get permission from dave's first and that just pisses me off. |

it's not so much about the salary anymore. i've found that some universities in china will let me teach science, so i'm basically just looking to aim more towards where i want to be in the future. i've got an MSc, so it looks like i can expect maybe about $900? |

when you say mid-term, do you mean their school year runs september through to june? or march to february? i'm hoping for an august 2011 start, but i want to start researching possibilities early. |

Universities run from September through June. Chinese new year is the break point for the first semester. There will be a few jobs for the second semester. Probably better chance of starting next year. |
