I've noticed that there are two Apple Festivals going on next weekend. One is in Chungju and the other is in Mungyeong.
I'm having a hard time finding any information about them online though. Anyone know anything about them or which one is better?
Thanks. |

The two are interchangeable I imagine. MunGyeong has Jirisan, Chungju has Woraksan. Both towns are famous for producing apples. Both towns have some pretty amazing scenery if you've got some wheels to find it with. They're only about 40 minutes apart on highway 3.
I do know that Chungju just had the International Martial Arts Festival and a local harvest festival, so who knows what the budget left over for another will be? I've been here six years and don't remember ever going to the apple festival. |
