IF you are NOT going to transfer (with a LOR from your current employer) then you will need:
a) CRC dated within 6 months of your visa application with an apostille. Must be from the national database (FBI if you are from the states).
b) Copy of your degree with an apostille.
IF you ARE going to transfer your visa with a LOR you will need to provide the same as above IF you have not provided them previously (as in - when you got your last visa you used a state CRC and/or your original degree and not a copy with apostille.)
If you provided a national CRC and a degree with apostille AND you can get a LOR you should be able to do a simple visa transfer to your new employer.

Are you planning to leave the country in between? If not, and your contract dates are back to back, then its super easy. You just apply for change of job. You need a LOR from your employer, your new contract, application and a couple of more things. Just call the immigration office. I did it and it was easy...my criminal background check just moved with me. |

He hasn't said where he was from so...
under the new rules if :
He hasn't supplied a "national" CRC he will have to supply one to move or get a new visa.
If he did he is good for a transfer but will need a new one for a new visa.
If he supplied a degree copy with apostille he is good to transfer.
If he used his original degree he will need one (a copy) with an apostille for transfer or new visa.

It looks like policy for CRC might be moved back a year. You might not need one when you transfer. Keep checking Immig website for news releases. |
