So, it's almost been one year since I started working in Korea and I've decided to continue at my current Hagwon.

My visa was issued to start from the 2nd of November 2009, although my ARC doesn't expire until November 6th 2010 (I arrived, and started, a few days later than first planned). As I understand from my boss I don't need to show any documents this time, just sign a new contract, but he's been delayed on preparing that, and now I don't have much time left before my visa is set to expire

He tells me I have a month after it expires to renew it but I'm not so sure. Should I be getting him to hurry up? What do I exactly need to do to renew at the same place?

If you are in the country one day after your ARC expires, you can get in some trouble. Get it done, it only takes a few minutes at immigration if your boss makes an appointment ahead of time.

I think all you need is your ARC and your new contract, but I'm can't remember if that is all I needed when I renewed.
