|
For those of you who use stickers in your classes-- I'm wondering where in Korea I could a lot of them for a cheap price. I've looked at the stationary stores and E-mart, etc but they are a bit over-priced. I also tried gmarket, but I couldn't really find anything.
Any ideas? I ordered a bunch on a US website a year ago and brought them back to Korean w/ me. I may just have to order bulk online from the states again and have a friend mail them here....
BUT, if you have any tips on where to get lots of stickers (nothing special, just stars or smiley faces, etc) for a decent price then let me know. I'm running low and don't want to hear the whiney "Aaaaaaooooowwwwe, TeachaaAAAaaAAAAaaaAAAaahh!!!"
Thanks. |

Do you have access to a color printer?
Just buy a box of "sticker paper" and make your own.
Doesn't get much cheaper or easier and your boss pays for the ink (and hopefully the paper too).

Have you tried using stamps? You can find them at a lot of different stores, and in the long run it's much cheaper than using stickers. My students love them too. |

most large elementary schools over 400 to 500 or so will have at least one store that will sell stickers in quantity that students like..... |

yeah, stamps work well too. you can get some cute ones at daiso, and have the students collect them using a stamp card.
anyways, here's a good site --> http://www.stickersandcharts.com
you can use these charts with stickers or stamps, plus there are some stickers that you can print out if you have the sticker printer paper. |

I had a custom stamp made. It cost me $30 at one of the places with the red "stamp" out front.
I have used it almost two years now. It looks A LOT like my picture to the left of this posting. It says "Thumbs Up" & at the bottom has my name.
I then give them a special sheet with boxes on it to collect stamps. I understand the teachers have started using it in the kids grades. |

Try Costco. They have a bulk pack of stickers there, though I'm not sure exactly what's on them. |

Toys R' Us, (in LotteMart), in Jamsil, Bupyeong, and near Guro Station all have an entire wall of stickers plus other stickers all around the stores. |

I went there today specifically to buy those (err...and eat pizza) and they didn't have those stickers anymore! I'm so tired of Costco's random and illogical inventory!!
Thanks everyone for the helpful tips. I will check out Toys R' Us since it's close to me....and maybe ease into using stamps as that is definitely a money-saver.
Hey waseige1, did you get the custom stamp made in Korea? That's a great idea! |
