I know there used to be one in Itaewon at Just Blues, but last I checked that place shut down. Does anyone know of other places that have any blues jams?

There is a new jazz bar in Kyobo Tower.

My goal is to find venues that allow those of us with instruments to get up and jam out. Blues is a nice predictable format, hence my desire to find a blues jam in town. Any ideas?

Big Electric Cat has an open-mike night every Tuesday. You'll find it round the corner from the Hamilton Hotle in Itaewon.
Woodstock in Itaewon has something similar every other Sunday, I think?

I know about the open mics, I've played at Woodstock a few times. It was all right (particularly when the cute Ewha girl came up to talk with me) but I'm hoping to find a place that has either a house band you can jam with, or a place where a lot of musicains gather to get put into sets with each other. Hard to believe a large metropolis like Seoul has so little venues for music. I love going out to see live bands, but also want to get out more and play with other people.
