This guys been around for years. I'm sure he's being rewarded handsomely for behaving like the stereotypical image that Koreans have of a western TEFL teacher.
Not really my cup of tea, though. The money would have to be really good. |

Why are they spelling CHEESE in block capitals? That's very confusing for kids starting to learn English letters. |

That is terrifying. And to answer the question in the subject line: you couldn't pay me enough to "teach" like that. |

His name is Isaac. He's been around for years and he does make good coin.
Though the money is good, I don't think I could force myself to act like that even for piles of money. It's just not worth it. |

I would sell out in an instant. That dude probably sleeps on a bed made of 50000 won bills with like 6 or 7 Korean chicks at once. |

I would totally do a job like that if it was offered to me! I don't have that kind of ultra-outgoing personality but it looks like a fun job. |

It makes me sick right now just thinking of having to act like that for hours on end. |

For the right money, I'd do just about anything. And so would you.
10 million a month and the applications would be sky high. |

The only problem I have with it is that over the years I have been told a number of times while working at Hagwons, that they (teachers/bosses) had just watched him on TV and thought he was great.
They wanted my every class to be just like that, with all that energy and mind cringingly verbal pronounciation of english. Usually after I told them that it wasn't likely to happen. I found out that I was the bad teacher.
I also believe many hagwons don't realise that he doesn't do that every class or that he teaches every day of the week. He probably has a week, does a block of shows and then they space them out over a year. or a couple of months.
If he does do 5-6 classes a day, 5 days a week, then wow. I could never do it. |

That's the silliest thing I've ever seen. Stereotypical geek.
This job probably has a lot of prep/office time to it even if it's just 2 or 3 hours of programming per week. They have to plan the lessons, script it, rehearse, and discuss all the details. She probably is an extremely friendly, personable, and easy to work with kind of lady so communication to produce together is doable. 2.5m won a month job? |

I think most of you overestimate your ability to really make an ass of yourselves. Regardless of the money, I don't think you'd be able to actually act like that without your built-in sense of embarrassment kicking in. |
