How accurate is this? Is it Korean? Location?

It's made by Tanita and comes with English instructions. I bought it at EMart, but it's not Korean. I still have the box and it's all in English with a Korean sticker on it.

With regards to accuracy - it says on the box that Tanita is the world's best selling body composition technology. But it does say that it is not intended for professional athletes or persons with very athletic body types. So I am not sure how accurate it is - but it seems that consistency of use is the key to getting the most out of these scales i.e. to use it at the same time each day.

When I was using it on my weight loss program, it definitely helped show me I was losing fat whilst the regular scale was only going down really slowly - showing me that I was building a bit of muscle in the process. It worked best doing measurements once a week only, as it will fluctuate slightly from day to day based on your hydration levels, etc. But usually a week on a weight loss program will be enough to see that the percentage is definitely going down.
