| Which video conversion software for the mac is good? I want one which can convert FLV (youtube format) to WMV so that I can attach the video onto my powerpoints to teach my students. If it can capture streaming youtube videos that would be a big bonus. I don't mind paying for the software if it is good. |

handbrake is excellent, but I don't think it can rip straight from youtube
you could try http://keepvid.com for youtube stuff |

If you don't mind paying, I would suggest a program called VideoBox
http://www.tastyapps.com/
I have been using it and it works well with YouTube. It downloads and converts the flash video to Quicktime format. |
