|
|
Hello,
Now that I am working in elementary school clipart has become very important to teaching. And I am somewhat particular about the resources I use. For example, I like to use only themed style clipart resources. That is, I like to use the same style for all a particular theme. Right now I am doing buildings, and it is very very difficult to find building clipart in the same style to cover all of the vocabulary I want to cover.
Does anyone have a resource for clipart or a book that I can scan?
Thanks, |

I haven't had time to browse to see if it has the types of images you are suggesting - you'll have to do that legwork yourself - but http://classroomclipart.com is pretty extensive and free. |

I have some links at http://englishlessons.wikispaces.com
I remember going to one of them this summer which had buildings. Not sure if they are what you are looking for though. |

Okay well none of those suggestions offered themed clipart for buildings.
So I finally found a site, ironically a Korean site, which has flashcards using themed clipart, that is clipart using the same style in a particular theme. Here it is for anyone interested.

Clip art is cheesy and horrible. Try www.corbisimages.com. It's completely free and you can probably find every photo you ever need. |
