So I think I got scammed on craigslist.

Bought a couple items totalling around 50,000WON (not much I know), but its been almost 3 weeks and he/she hasn't replied to any of my emails.

I'll probably go to the police soon to file some sort of complaint. I have his/her banking info, but other than that nothing.

But tell me, is it a waste of time even going to the police. I've read some of the scam threads on here, mainly the one where some guy sold a ton of xbox games and never shipped any of them (though who really knows if he even had them to begin with)...

but it seems nothing really comes out of it.

This is why I really don't want to buy anything here or on Craigslist unless I can pick it up in person (even when I get solid offers).
