Am I right in thinking that if I go from one job that uses the national pension program to another job that uses the national pension program (public school to public school) that pension money will continue going into the same account?
Also, that I don't have to remove the money once I quit the first job and that it will still be available for me to collect at a later date? Essentially I'm changing jobs within Korea and don't really want to spend the money on 2 one-way plane tickets to go home and back if there is any way I can postpone it and collect my pension when I leave Korea permanently. |

In other words, previous schools can't take it. If you ever have a plane ticket out of Korea and not working, it might be a good idea to collect it regardless if you plan on returning.
However, if you are content on staying in Korea and just continuing things then make sure the previous school put in what they owe and the new school is making paying. Ask for a statement. |
