Been watching the new Wall Street movie. Mostly it seems boring. Funny I found one of the most interesting scenes when he meets Charlie Sheen's Bud Fox at a bar.

Boiler Room was better.

Yes it was boring but there are some good messages in it. In the next 12 months when things most likely will crash big time, watch it after the crash and you might see there was a message or two in that movie.

I loved the original movie and didn't expect much from this sequel. The vast majority of sequels are never anything close to the originals. You can name exceptions but they will be exceptions. Generally speaking, sequel s suck and are just about making money.

So I went into this movie thinking it was gonna be very, very bad and it was better than I thought it was gonna be. Not Gone With The Wind good but better than I thought it would be. My standard was pretty low though.

It wasn't the greatest movie I have seen, and it wasn't the worst. I think that it touches upon a lot of things that did happen and are currently happening in the economy. I'm not an Oliver Stone fan, but the movie didn't suck.

The only time the movie was interesting was when Michael Douglas was chewing up the screen. Oh, except for the motorcyle riding. That was pretty thrilling. Vroom!

I thought it was quite good. Yes, not award-worthy, but pretty good. I did walk in with no expectations though.
