Hi,
I tutor online to many international students, but mostly Korean students. That's because I worked with Korean students for six years at a private school in NH. I fell in love with the people and the culture, and I just enjoyed working with that population.
I no longer teacher at a private school, but want to continue teaching my students on line. Some are learning business and conversational English, but most are preparing to take the TOEFL for admissions into US colleges and universities. As I teach this the most, I probably want to market this crowd.
I was hoping to get feedback from students in any country, or for them to ask me questions. Are students willing to learn/improve English online with an American tutor? How would they like to be taught online-IM, email, video, Skype? How do I reach students? What do you think is the best approach to presenting this idea?
I have two former S. Korean students who serve on my "advisory board". They know me well, and are successful businessmen now. But, I wanted to hear from potential students just now thinking about taking the TOEFL. I would appreciate any ideas, feedback, suggestions or questions. The name of the website I work from is called Test Prep and Tutoring in Gloucester, MA. You can google for the web page. This might give you an idea or plenty of room for feedback. Thank you so much!!!!
