Ok, for those of you who have had guests, I need ideas. I have a friend coming in the middle of December. What are some things that he can do alone when I'm at work? He's smart enough not to get lost in Seoul, so that's not a problem. I know all the usual things, but does anybody know anything "cool" or fun to do, but out of the ordinary?
Oh, and does anybody know anything about orchestras? Let me rephrase that, lol. Does anybody know any specifics about large orchestras in Seoul, like days they perform or where?
Thanks ahead of time and good night~! |

Duh~! That is something I had forgotten about. That would be a good overview one day!

The National War Museum in Yongsan is pretty impressive. Lots of history there as well as footage from the Korean War and decommisioned tanks and fighter jets.
Nam Han San Seong is a little bit outside of Seoul near Seongnam but it is a pretty cool old mountain fortress with good views if the city.
Also check out Inwangsan in Seoul for the city views, the shaman shrines, and creepy proximity to an old prison.

Edit: sorry bout the clumsy links. Hard to copy and paste on this phone. |

Of course, no concerts while he is here. Oh well.
