Looking for a source of herbs somewhere in the Busan area. Anyone know where I can find fresh basil, rosemary, sage, cilantro, etc? Any help is appreciated, as I am experiencing a rabid basil lust. |

You're going to have big problems finding basil and also cilantro. It's also sold in very small portions and for a high price. Your best bet is Emart, Mine occasionally has some.
Welcome to Korea the land of fragrant denial. |

Basil is available at HomePlus, cilantro I don't think I've ever seen in bottles here, though I've grown it and bought plant starts (starts sold on the street although cilantro is not common in those situations, other herbs are, the seeds were from home) |

Seeds for basil and rosemary are available a Daiso and Emart. They have other herbs available as well. |

iherb.com delivers to Korea with a fairly low shipping rate. I've ordered from them several times and successfully gotten my packages within about 2 weeks. |

If I wasn't leaving in a few months, I would definitely buy an Aerogarden and grow my own stuff indoors.
Here's what it is:

And here's the site for ordering in Korea:

It says the price is W94,000, and you're eligible for a whopping W100 discount to bring it down to W93,900. |

I don't know about Busan, but I just bought fresh cilantro at my local EMart in Goyang-si.
It goes by a different name however. It's often a good idea to look up the thing you're looking for in a English-Korean dictionary and find out what it's likely to be called on the Korean packaging if you're in doubt from just looking. I have a little dictionary on my phone that's good for that. It says cilantro is 고 수. It was good and not very expensive. |
