I just found out I will be placed in Sancheong and I was wondering if anyone has been there or maybe lived there.
Im not really sure what to expect or bring for this region of the country, especially wondering what to pack for the winter time.
Any thoughts would be great |

Sup,
Don't worry too much about what to bring / not to bring. Pretty much everything that is available there is available in Korea. Wherever you are, its almost guaranteed that there will be 10 convience stores selling everything from food to soap to shampoo within 5 minutes of your place. Some people disagree on this, but I would recomend bringing some deoderant and toothpaste, like enough to last you a few months.
Koreans like to dress well, so bring clothing that is on the nicer side of the spectrum. Korean winters aren't as bad as Canadian winters, but it can still get fairly cold. |
