A question for the computer ner..... I mean experts out there.
If I want to copy an article off the interenet, a recent current event for example. I want to print it out complete with the picture that is on the net. How can I do this? When I highlight the article, it will print alright, but the pictures always are deleted.
I know, this is probably a very simple thing, but I am no computer whiz.
Can anyone out there tell me an easy way to do this?
Thanks in advance |

You need to get a tool that grabs the screen you are watching - but it will only grab the entire screen - not necessarily the entire page in one go. Snaglt is good - do a google search for 'screen grab' software.
Have you tried saving the page as a 'web page complete'? or HTML file? |

I don't really know right now, how to do it except to highlight it, press control + p to print. Or click on the printer icon.
It seems to me, back in the daze when I was trying to learn about computers that there was a simple way to get a computer to just print whatever is currently on the screen.
Would that be control + ps? I don't remember.
The reason I ask is because I would like to be able to use some articles off the net as conversation topics, and it would be much better if I could get the pictures that go with the articles.
Anyway, thanks for your response.

If you are not too worried about the extaneous screen garbage, go to edit on the toolbar and click on select all and then from the file menu select print preview and if its all there print away. That's the easiest way. |

| If you right click on your mouse you will see an option to 'save page as...' - after saving it to a folder you can then print it straight off in the usual way and you've still got it there if things go wrong or for reference. That's the easiest way. |
