My friend says she has no school on the 18th this month because it's a national holiday. Anyone hear about this?

Not national 'holiday', but it's the day of nationwide college entrance exam.

Business hours start 1 hour later than usual, so do schools.

Airports are closed off for one hour each in the morning and in the afternoon.

A good many (but not all) public middle schools will be closed that day, if a substantial number of their teachers were recruited to monitor the test.

I've got the day off Yeah, it's the test day. Almost makes me want to do something special and nice for the kids on the Friday...
