Does anyone know if the salary on one's contract already includes the rural allowance and multiple school allowance?

For example, if my contract states that my salary is 2.700.000 KRW, does that include the extra 100.000 for being in a rural area and the extra 100.000 for working at two schools?

Or, should I actually be getting 2.900.000?

There's the base amount, and then the allowances are added. If the contract says 2.7 at the very beginning, where they write in your name, what level you're at (2.7 would be 1+ I imagine), and you're also getting a rural and multiple school allowance, then they should be added onto it. If you're in doubt, check your payslip (if you're here already that is).

vatican is correct. Whatever is written on the contract at the top is base. Multi-school, rural, and housing(if you opt for it) will be added to your base.

Good luck on getting rural. I teach at 3 MS and have a total of 160 kids. That's 53.3 kids per school and I don't get rural.
