Circumstances require that I return stateside mid-way through my 2-year contract with SHOW. How much is it going to cost me to cancel my contract?

I understand that I will have to pay the remaining balance on my phone, but I only pay 5,000 won a month toward the actual phone, and at 5,000/month the total at the end of 2 years would have been only 120,000...and that can't be right. So how much will I owe?

Any information will be helpful. Thanks!

I sold my iphone a month ago. When you are under contract, you pay only 5,000 (or more, depending on your contract) since it is being subsidized. When you cancel your contract, there is no fee, but you must pay for the full, unsubsidized price of the phone. For me, and I guess it would be the same for you, the cost was 40,000 for every month remaining on the contract. I ended up selling my phone for 400,000, but still ended up owing 160,000 since I had 14 months to go on my contract.

Can you transfer the contract to the person who wants to buy your phone?
