Auction is owned by eBay and is their Korean presence.

Gmarket has English site so that's good but i found they don't have as large of selection.

11st.co.kr has the best selection but no English site. If you can manage to sign up (it does allow foreigner sign up) has a very easy and straight forward check out process.

auction.com is terrible. Seems mostly a site for retailers crazy about flash media ads. The sellers are not obligated to actually sell you what you win if they don't like the sales price. Joke.

Just use regular EBay and pay for the shipping. In most cases, it's better stuff than you get here. One suggestion is to use England's EBay. Postage from there is a lot cheaper than from other Euro countries or from N. America.

craigslist is not a good option of course if you have a more specialized item, since only foreigners go on craigslist. For example, if you're selling something like an imported mountain bike or an expensive musical instrument, you're probably better off selling it on the auction site. Anything imported really is better off sold on the auction site. But if you're just selling something like a bookshelf or household item, you can probably just get rid of it quick on CL.
