Does anybody know somewhere to get a good Thanksgiving dinner in Busan? I've heard that some Western-style restaurants might serve it. Anyone have experience with this - making reservations, quality, recommendations, etc.?
I'm willing to cook if I have to, but I don't have an oven so that would be a very, very sad Thanksgiving. Thank you for any help you can give! |

Try calling the Gyeongju Hilton (I think its about an hour bus ride from Busan). The Hilton hotels in Seoul have a Thanksgiving buffet dinner, maybe they offer it as well. It's rather pricey at 50,000W pp but worth it when you haven't had all the fixings for a few years. |

I read something about a US military seaman's club place near the Busan KTX station serving Thanksgiving dinner. I might go there since it probably is specially imported American food due to being put on by Americans. So far I haven't turned up a genuine American Thanksgiving dinner in Seoul so I might KTX down there.

Any major Western hotel will undoubtedly have some Thanksgiving dishes inserted into their regular buffet spreads; pretty sure about that. I've been to a few. I think they're all about the same to me. Eh. |

The Seaman's Club is no longer by Busan Station. That branch closed. The remaining branch is at Pier 8. The food isn't specially imported for Thanksgiving. The club always has American food. |

That's good to know. I couldn't turn up a website of theirs on Google and the Galbi mentions it being on the port side of Busan station.
I seen a whole big frozen turkey for 80,000 won at Foreigner Mart in Itaewon yesterday if you are inclined to cook and invite us all over. |

You used to be able to order a complete Thanksgiving dinner from the Dragon Hill on Yonsan (a friend did it 2 years ago) . You'd call them up and someone will deliver it to you right off base. (whole turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, bread rolls, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie |

The one time I ate thanksgiving at the Seamans club it was very good and the price was fair. I used to go there for breakfast on Sunday mornings sometimes and that was also good. Dont know how it is now this was seven years ago. They had good coffee!! |

Most, if not all of the English speaking churches will have a Thanksgiving dinner going on. Many of them are free and you don't have to be a member or even a believer. Some of them will appreciate a donation, and if you can't find one on your own, PM me for an inside scoop. |
