Go to Itaewon... you can't walk 10 feet without being hassled by a tailor. |

Yah, head to Itaewon for a custom made suit. I go to "Paris" because someone recommended it but from what i've heard, any of the five shops on the same block as Paris are decent. I paid 400, 000 for a custom made suit that I wear pretty much every day. I travel while wearing it (12 - 15 hour flights) and its holding up well - no problems.
Some tailors might try to convince you that their material is 110+ grade quality. This is bullsh|t. You're talking Michael Jordan/Tiger Woods grade sh|t here. If that were in fact the case you'd be paying upwards of $10, 000 for a single suit not $500. Just make sure that you can see the material in the sunlight (often times the lightening in these shops is designed so that you can't see minute flaws in the material). Crinkle the material up in a ball, let it go and if stays wrinkled, ask for a different grade. Lemme know if you need any specific help. |

If you are ever in Hong Kong get one there.
I have a suit made by the guy who holds the record for making a suit in the quickest time. |

World Custom Tailor in Itaewon. Good service and cheaper than the rest. Yellow Sign. Walk away from The Hamilton down the main drag and it is about 100 yards on the left.
I had a full length, to just above my ankles, cashmere coat made for 220,000. Really good coat and lasting well.
Friend had a suit made. Nice suit too. 250,000. |
