Hi,
I had a question on how to format my resume. Should I include my home address and phone number on the resumes I post on recruiters websites or jobs I find on Dave's ESL Cafe? I am from the USA.
I wanted to edit that information out and only include my e-mail address as a contact information. The reason for this is that I don't want international calls coming into my cell phone at all hours of the day.
If I exclude the above contact information will it look unprofessional?

I dont think overseas employers will call you because that will cost a lot of money. I think they will mainly use email and you should get skype. When I was in the states, we worked by email and internet video interviews.

i got phone calls all the time from recruiters, schools for interviews, etc. they will definitely want to call you, but just say when you send your resume that you are only available between x:00 and x:00 your time, and translate it to korea time for them. i have not had any problems with calls at all hours of the day.

Definitely include your phone number - I get 1 or 2 calls from recruiters every day after sending out a flurry of CV's the night before. Hard to say why as they never ask me anything I didn't tell them in my email - just to see what my voice is like I guess.

Generally they're sensitive to the fact that I'm 9 hours behind Korean Time so they wait until about 9am to call. Some are idiots, and end up calling me at 3 in the morning or somesuch - these I just ignore. If they're not going to take the time to check what country I'm living in then I certainly don't trust them to find a school that suits my needs.
