So the ski resorts opened up 3 weeks earlier than expected, which is a big shame since the first week usually offers free lift passes.
Anyone wanting to make trips down to the slopes, or know of any groups being formed already? |

This year im off to furano and kamui in hokkaido i reckons. Figured i might as well just buy a season ticket there and save on lift costs... may even head to niseko though because i freaking LOVE the nighta there (even if the season pass there is ridonculous). |

I don't think this phrase is applicable in Korea. |

Paid early for my season pass to Suanbo's Sajo Resort. Not because the hill is any good, but because I work at the school next door to it twice a week and live twenty minutes down the road. I'll make it up to Phoenix Park or Hi-1 or somewhere I haven't tried yet a few times when I get bored of the tiny runs (with the benefit of having the mountain nearly to myself on weekdays) at home. |

The High1 website seems to be still highlighting summer activities.
Anyone know of a "ski jang" actually opening please post the info. |

Im not entirely sure if im mixing up things here, but i remember someone somewhere once saying that you buy season pass from an auction or the like. Its a weird ass system. Best bet is to contact mujuresort website and see what they say on the matter, i honestly could be getting totally mixed up, because that really doesnt sound right |

Thanks for that Ippy...probably is right if its an odd round about, not so straight forward way of getting season passes! It is Korea after all! haha hopefully I'll be able to figure it out- nobody seems to have any solid information on this- Ive heard you have to register for a season pass but cant find anything to back that up! |

I spoke with a Korean friend who got a phone call from a guy who heard that Yong Pyeong is going to open tomorrow. |

I might go to Yongpyong this winter. Get a good buzz going seems to be the best way to enjoy the short runs, lack of powder, and ridiculously overcrowded hills. Korea has lots of good things. Skiing isn't one of them. |
