Your question is more like how high is up.
You mean like the stuff offered by Hanatour or Mode Tour?
You are aware that a typical "Korean" tour package is NOT like one from home?
How long are you talking about (3n4d or longer)?
Although you posted this in the travel forum you obviously have not actually read the forum cause there is LOTS of advice in here about "travel" and "travel packages" (in and out of Korea).

There are day tours and 1-2 day tours all over the place. Most signs are in Korean but if you can find a source, you can certainly go. Maybe see Gyeongju and the DMZ. The USO has a good tour of the DMZ.
International, I highly recommend against it for several reasons.
1. Short times (4-5 days) with guided-by-the-nose style. You won't experience the real country at all.
2. Forced and pressured sales of overpriced items and service. For example, $100 for a special massage when a regular one costs $10-20.
3. All Koreans, all in Korean, all Korean food. Yes, this includes overseas.
4. Base price for 2 people. Single occupancy will cost you more as well as you will likely feel like an outcast.
I wonder why you want a tour of an overseas location through a Korean company. I hope you have the confidence and travel experience to do it yourself.

Yeah, my boys ended up touring mattress shops in Beijing. |

They have free buses for internationals going to Gyungju and Chongju most days of the week. Check the KTO website for more information. |
