| make sure they do a good job. the time i got mine done, they slapped some band-aids(literally! actually, they were pieces of heat tape - same dif!) on various processors, and, from what I could tell, that was it. no x-clamp fix. it did work for another 6 months or so, then failed again. they told me the gpu died the second time and that a replacement would be hard to find. i tried the x-clamp and heat-gun fixes myself to no avail. pretty sure that if they had've fixed it correctly the first time that the 360 would still be working today. oh well. best of luck. |

| Save the 50K repair cost and invest in a slim. Everyone that I've known (including myself) have had the repairs fail without exception within 3-6 months. |
