This is for the women, or the guys with Korean wives or girlfriends.
Yesterday, the fiance asked me if she should get a tetanus shot. Apparently, for women who are about to get married, this is very popular. The women are cautioned, however, not to get pregnant for the first three months of the marriage if they get the shot.
Perhaps I'm just a bit dense, but I can't figure out why they need shots, and the little woman doesn't know the reason, either. Anyone else heard anything about this? What is the reasoning? |

(1) Because Korean men are dogs?
A tetanus shot prevents lockjaw. (2) To alleviate the groom's fears? |

Everyone should have a shot every ten years anyway. Maybe the marriageable age for women is 10 years after they got their last shots, so they use marriage to remind women that it has been about 10 years. |
