I want to use SD cards with my old Canon 20D so that I can use the built-in card reader on my MacBook Pro.

The problem is that it's no-name brand and twice as much as a name brand one from the US.

Has anyone purchased something like this here? If so, from where?

Here's one that's a bit less expensive.

It can only handle cards 2gb or less though.

This one is a little more, but it will work with cards up to 32gb.

I'm going to pick one of these up along with an Eye-fi SD card to tether it to my Galaxy S and have (almost) instant uploading of images to facebook from my DSLR.

In case people don't know, an Eye-fi card is an SD card with built-in WIFI that can automatically transfer images to a wifi connected computer or social networking site (etcetc) automatically.

Apparently the range of the EYE-fi card goes down a bit inside the adapter but most people on the internet seem to agree that it works (besides, my phone will be pretty near at all times). Anyone else here try such a set-up?
