Hello, all!

I'm a long time lurker, first time poster...and I'm in need of some advice/insight.

I'm contemplating taking a position in Paju in the Dongpae-ri area, so I was hoping to get any information on the location.

I've done a search and it seems that Paju, in general, seems to be 'in the sticks.' However, looking at google map it looks like the location is close enough to Ilsan?

I'm not very keen on rural areas, though...so maybe I should wait out for a position closer to Seoul (or rather in Seoul)? I'm looking for February 2011 starts, but I'm getting anxious about not signing contracts etc...especially because I'm a gyopo. I've also been in talks with a school in Ansan, but that position seems further out than Paju.

Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance! Smile

Paju isn't at all far from Seoul. an hr- hr+.5 tops

The deepest you could possibly be is Munsan, but there are plenty of bars/chicken joints to crawl through if you aren't up for the journey. And then there is Geumchon and Ilsan.

Ilsan has plenty of bars, if you like that sort of night life. lots of buses pass through on the way to Seoul (2000). If you must go to Seoul, the Gyeongui line is your best bet, and the 909/200 bus take you there too.
