Hi Everyone,
My brother will be graduating college soon and is looking into working abroad. I have been trying to see if there are any teaching positions, not necessarily in Korea, but anywhere that accept applicants with a (Canadian) College Diploma and not a University Degree. Any insight/websites would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks! |

Try China, the rules there are just guidelines, pretty sure you can still find work without a degree. |

May I ask what the difference is? Is a college diploma like an associates degree? or does it have a bachelor's degree? Is it accredited? |

YOung clinton,
No a college diploma is a college diploma.. Has nothign to do with degree or bachelors or associates. Thats the difference between Canada and the USA.
Going to College in Canada is technical /practical ( usually 1-3 years diploma) Where as going to university in Canada is more Theory base ( 4 years bachelor , masters ect... ) Essentially colleges teaches you how to do and university teaches you how to think. HOWEVER, a bunch of colleges in Ontario are becoming polytechnic universities which do give out 4 year Bachelors Which is a good mix of practical and thinking =p.
I went to college for 4 years but apparently cant teach english legally in korea. Because the piece of paper i have isnt a "university degree". |
