|
|
Does anyone know if their local pc bangs have black ops on their computers or are planning to carry it?
I'm in seoul and the pc bang ahjushi said they probably won't carry it. My computer can't handle the game so just wondering. |

| You could just get an external hard drive and steam and play from there if you want to play it. |

Yeah. Most PCBangs will most likely NOT carry it. A lot of them have exclusive contracts with specific portals, developers, and even genres. Also demand is probably not high enough in Korea. Koreans sure love their old, crappy, bot infested FPS games like Sudden Attack and Counterstrike. |

It is truly astounding how bad their games are. Also, if they choose a solid game like CS they end up using crap maps, zombies and bots. Nightmare being a gamer in this country; pings are abysmal. |

There are 6-8 servers for Bad Company 2 that I have 50ms pings on, another 10 or so that are 100-250ms.
If anyone gets CoD BO I'd love to know how well serviced it is in Korea. |

As i've said in my other thread i don't think lag will be an issue as they have data warehouses in Tokyo but who knows...for some reason the routing is crap in Korea. It seems as soon as you leave the borders of Korea internet slows down majorly. I've petitioned to have one in Seoul. Send yours in. http://www.gameservers.com/blackops/#suggest |

Has anyone actually bought CoD BO for PC yet? How is the lag?
I am on the verge of getting it...
Edit: just found this http://cromic.net/34
It's a Korean guy writing that the lag (even when using Japan-based servers) makes PC Black Ops near unplayable.
