|
|
I need to fix (replace?) the three USB ports on my laptop. After reformatting and trying a slew of other options, it seems the issue is with the hardware (HP has also confirmed this).
I have never been to Yongsan- does anyone have any suggestions of a place within Yongsan to take my laptop to be fixed? Do I just take it to a random kiosk and ask soemone to repair it?
What about at TechMart (Gangyeon is much closer for me- I live an hour outside of Jamsil)? One guy I spoke to said it would be cheaper to take the laptop to a "service repair" shop, but failed to tell me where it was... so, I'm unsure if it's within TechMart or ... ???
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks. |

Try this out:
http://www.online-tech-tips.com/computer-tips/usb-device-not-recognized/
It worked for me. My USB ports, my camera, and my fingerprint reader stopped working for a while. After researching online, I found this site and tried it out. It worked like a charm.
Hopefully it works out for you so you can save yourself some money! |

I am also looking to get my PC fixed and have heard many a horror story regarding dodgy people at Yongsan.
Does anybody have someone they could recommend that they trust?
Your help is as always appreciated. |
