My at home exfoliating and masking routines can only do so much. I need an industrial strength dermapeel.

Any suggestions on an English speaking, reasonably priced dermatologist? Especially in East Seoul. Central is okay as well.

I don't know much about peels. What is it that you want to improve about your skin?

Most of the dermatologists in Gangnam can perform a chemical peel or dermabrasion, and skincare clinics who do microdermabrasion are a dime a dozen.

Hey,
The one that I did cost 70,000W. They have a list of about 10 different treatments that you can choose from and will look at your skin and advise you of which one to go with. The range is about 50-80,000W. They are the primary obgyn referal for the army base, so they speak English very well and all billing and care related instructions are given in English.
Enjoy,
J

How long does it take your face to recover from one of the peels at Dr. Sungs?

I have never done it before but would like to do one that is not so harsh.

I have been to Teng Teng skin clinic before to ask questions but I found Dr. Julius Jon to be slightly off putting and quick to dismiss me, so I never actually went back for any peels.

I too am curious about this. Why get rid of a layer of skin? I am not asking to be snarky, just genuinely puzzled.

ALSO DO THEY DO LIVERS.

There are many reasons. I exfoliate to prevent wrinkles from starting. Some have acne, and it removes the clogged parts. Some are really dry and it removes the flaking skin and allows fresh, moist skin to surface.

I use krystal salt mixed with oil to exfoliate, but you could also order some glycolic acid face wash and use that every few days with some cotton.

Are you sure you want to waste money on nothing but or mostly CHEMICALS??? It disgusts me how most companies put nasty parabens and many other chemicals in personal care products and skin care products...even companies that CLAIM to be natural put nasty parabens in their stuff, Lush being one of them...also Skin Food has the nasty stuff in most products...not to mention, I find it hilarious how many women rush to buy Chanel and Dior creams, etc....and they are paying more for more chemicals...they are worse than the cheaper brands...the nWO has done a great job at brainwashing people....like the Joker said, "where can I get these fine new prodcuts? That's the gag...chances are, you bought 'em already...why not just rub extra virgin olive oil on your face at night and save more money??? Chemicals suck. Not to mention, the ethylparabens in sunscreen actually get cooked by the sun into your skin and cause aging rather than prevent it...Go research it...but I am sure some of you won't care, just like people know how nasty McDonald's is, and they even get human flesh mixed in with their meat when there are accidents with their meat plant machines...and people STILL eat that garbge...a cheeseburger that lasts for months????Yuck...plastic garbage.

WHY? Because people have been brainwashed by the media and society that they need to have this done, that done...No wonder men laugh at some women....How many men do you know that stick all kinds of crud on their faces and look at them when they are 60 years old...it's not like they look 90 or anything.

Exfoliating naturally is best...why do you think a woman's face looks all burned and scary after these peels? Yuck...no one is going to burn my face like that.

I know, but beauty comes from within, too...You have to hit every angle...as in, eat healthy and your skin will thank you for it...Why spend tons of money on skin care products if you are going to eat fast food trash, drink and smoke??? These things will cancel out all good things. My Mom has never had a peel, a salon facial, or anything, and she still looks great....She has never drank, never smoked, stayed out of the sun, and all she has ever done is use cleanser and sunscreen. And she is trim and fit, too...I have never smoked, don't sunbathe, and hardly ever have a drink...in fact, haven't had a drink in like forever...

Princess:

What do you use to wash your face? Do you put sun cream on every day or face lotion?
