|
|
Hi does anyone know of anywhere that does intensive Korean programmes in Seoul? I'm on vacation from December 10th to March 1st and would like to brush up on my skills (I'm a low-intermediate).
I had a look at Sogang but am not sure if you can sign up for just one term (have sent an e-mail).
Any other suggestions?
Cheers |

You can sign up for 1 term with Sogang.
I've heard good things about Ganada Korean Language Inst in Hongdae too.

The problem I have is that I finish work at Yeoksam at 8:20am so its a pain to make it to Sogang/Ehwa/Yonsei on time for 9am (I also live in Jamsil anyway so they're are a long way from home).
The application window for Seoul University has closed so it seems the best option I have is the Seoul Korean Academy in Gangnam (http://seoul-kla.com) or possibly Hanyang University (http://www.hyili.hanyang.ac.kr/index.html). Anybody know anything about these programmes?
Today I timed how long it would take to get to Ewha from my work and it seems I'd be about 15 minutes late for a 4 hour class everday. I telephoned them to see if this would be okay as I really wanted to take the course. They said no, guess those 15 minutes each day is more important than taking about 1.4 million won off me. The administration at Ewha must either be incredibly rich or incredibly stupid. |
