Best TV show ever.

I just threw out 2 100ML bags of clothes, the fear of ending up like that has set in.

Dude, I watched two episodes. Next thing I know I was bleaching my bathroom, then dusting and vacuuming my house. This morning I cleaned everything out and unplugged my frig so it could defrost while I'm at work. I'll be hosing that down with bleach when I get off.

I like Hoarders too but I think it's starting to get a bit stale. It's not their fault, it's just that it has a limited focus. Just the nature of the show. It's fascinating for awhile shocking to see an attic full of dead cats and a bathroom full of dirty toilet paper and feces but eventually they're going to have to top that and I don't think they can. Last time I was in the USA I saw the previews for the 3rd season and they showed a possum running over a pile of trash so maybe there's still hope.

It's kind of like the Jerry Springer show, but much better. I'm just saying like Jerry Springer, once you've seen a midget fight a morbidly obese transexual there's not much more to see.

Dunno the show, but the old lady next door to me has started cleaning out her house. The junk pile has been growing for a month and is now 10 meters long, 3 meters deep and 1.5 to 2 meters high. It takes up the left side of the road from the center line to the fence on one side of my house, for a ten meter stretch of road (and my house's fence!) I really can't imagine what the inside of her house must have looked like.

The garbage people aren't exactly doing their best to remove it either and no one seems to want to tell her that she shouldn't take up the entire road with her garbage (she looks like she's 90, and we all know old people can do whatever they like in Korea.)

On second thought, this show is starting to make me angry.

Some of these people have beautiful homes and they just let it all go to waste.

Anyone who knows me more than 5 mins knows I'm an OCD level clean and neat freak. It takes so much effort to keep this little one room up to my standards. I often day dream about how I would decorate and clean a big house if I had it. Here these people have it and would rather drown it in filth rather than take pride in it.

have you gotten to the episodes where their indoor plumbing stops workings so they resort to adult diapers which they throw on their bathroom floor, they have so many that the urine and feces eats away at the floor.

And I say "they" because there is more than one episode where this happens.

Season 3 episode 6, is terrible. terrible, terrible, terrible.

I am told that there is a new show called "Animal Hoarders." I can't watch it, I think it would make me cry.

You got me hooked on this show yesterday (I was home sick). I ended up polishing my doorknobs and faucets, windexing my mirrors and windows, and swiffering my floor. I keep a clean apartment but went into shiny shiny mode.

I'd still rather watch Grey Gardens for the upteenth time.

I'll confess: I ain't a neat freak and I never will be. Luckily, a transient lifestyle means I can't accumulate too much crap.

I saw one of the diaper episodes. The lady seemed really out of her mind. She just chucked the diapers in the bathroom. I don't know how she cleaned herself, I guess sh didn't. Wouldn't it be more comfortable to go to a nearby store or something? I think adult diapers aren't cheap either. It would probably cost less to just pay the water bill.

I'm not a neat person either but any stretch but I also have a transient lifestyle and therefore don't have much stuff. Hoarders kind of has the opposite effect on me, I feel like, I'm not going to get that bad so I can still let the place go a bit.

I saw one episode of animal hoarders and I don't know how anyone could live with that much barking. I saw one episode of hoarders where the people said they could smell the woman's house from 50 feet away because of all the cats she had.

I've never seen Hoarders and now that I've read this post I don't have to. It sounds like you hit the high points.
