I believe I'm supposed to supply a notarized apostilled copy of a diploma as originals aren't accepted anymore.

Is there anywhere in Seoul that I can have it notarized?

Some people on the forum said you can get a notary at the embassy, but they can't provide apostille.

Ways to get your degree apostille or diploma apostille:

1. Fly back to the states or home to get it done.
2. Send your original degree/diploma to your family or friends in the states or where you live and have them take care of it.
3. Send your original degree/diploma to an agency. They provide notary, apostille and ship it to South Korea.

According to people on the forum, they said as of 2011, original degrees are no longer accepted. Must be a copy of degree apostille. Also, for background checks, they want FBI background checks - nationwide.

Depends on where you are from.

The above information is OK if you are from the states.
If you are from Canada you need to go to the embassy and swear out an affidavit of authenticity for your copy of your degree

OR

Send it back to the Korean consulate (that has jurisdiction over your place of residence in Canada) in Canada and have them certify it by mail for you. They WILL need a Canadian address to send it back to (who will then hopefully forward it to you.)
