So I just got word that I will be attending this training. I am trying to weasel my way out of it still, but I doubt I will be successful.

I was wondering if a previous attendee can shed some light on what goes down here. I know it involves some cultural training (if you can call it that). Some teacher training (if you can call it that). And some team building.

I was thinking we should try to make an Eslcafe team if we can choose our own. Or at least have an eslcafe get together one night and do a little networking.

Anyone interested?

I love these GEPIK trainings. I've been to 4 and would go again but now my school knows what goes on during these trainings that they won't let me go this next one.

To sum it up, it's a paid vacation. Who would not want to go? I went to the one 3 or 4 months ago and this is what we did; learned basic Korean, did some taekwondo, made and painted fans, learned crappy songs so we can impress the principal at the noraebang, watched a Korean movie, had a dance off....These were the sessions!
