I really have no idea but I did have a couple beers at the WABAR in Sadang. I live close to Isu so I'd be interested in knowing as well.
There are a few bars in Isu but they were a bit expensive and anju is usually required. They do have hookahs at one in Isu though. Straight down the main cobblestone semi-ped street on the right just past the sushi shops. 2nd and 3rd floors...it kindof looks like a BeerMart but isn't. |

In Isu:
From exit 13 near Shinsaegae Department store
Head up the cobblestone street. Go past the intersection with the Baskin Robbins and Buy the Way. Make a left at the next street. There is a bar on your left but I can't remember the name. Someone told me that the name of the bar is the Korean word for 'tag' (as in the game) so we have always just called it Tag Bar. It's brown and there are some outdoor tables. It's a descent place. They'll let you drink without ordering food. There is also a place across the street called Beir Garten. Beir Garten sells really tall glasses of beer that tend to spill all over you. |
