| Mashed sweet potatoes, just boil them and mash them with butter and brown sugar. So easy and so good. |

| You could make a dressing and heat it in the microwave, sure it won't taste as good as dressing cooked with the turkey, but it's still a decent option. If you can get a package of turkey giblets you can toss them on top of the dressing while cooking to add a bit of turkey flavour. |

If lack of an oven is your reason for "no baking," then maybe you could try "baking" in a rice cooker.
I made a delicious cake once, just used a bag of mix and followed the picture instructions on the back.
There's a thread on here somewhere about all the stuff you can bake in rice cookers. It's pretty amazing.
I think a stuffing would come out especially well. Moist and fluffy in my imagination at least. |

murmanjake, thanks for the tip. I'll definitely check it out. I agree that dressing/stuffing could be amazing from the rice cooker. |

I've got a recipe somewhere to make no bake stuffing. Basically you chop up a bunch of bread. Chop up some celery and onions then throw them in a dutch oven with a bunch of butter and thyme or tarragon. Saute for a few minutes then dump in your bread crumbs and some turkey/chicken broth. Mix it up and serve hot.
Other no bake thanksgiving foods that come to mind are mashed potatoes, steamed squash with maple syrup and butter, devled eggs, and all sorts of salads. For dessert you could make no bake cookies. They'd be sweet and chocolaty. |
